Is everyone being enrolled into a workplace pension?

 

By law every employer has to enrol their staff into a workplace pension, if they’re:

  • aged between 22 and State Pension age;
  • earn more than a minimum amount (£10,000 a year /£833 a month / £192 a week in 2018/2019); and
  • work or usually work in the UK.

 

Employees who meet this criteria are known as ‘eligible jobholders’.
