What is a microsite?
It’s an employer branded microsite with The People’s Pension that your company can call their own. We’ve carefully tailored the information to be relevant to your employees. It can neatly slot into your company’s intranet and makes it clear that The People’s Pension is your provider.
Microsites are easy to use and run. Employees will have a one-stop shop to get all the information they need. Once you’ve set it up, any webpages you’re highlighting will be automatically updated by us to add new, useful content, so no extra work for you.
The advantages of a microsite
We’ve found that employee engagement with their pension works best when it come from you, the employer. Having your own branded microsite will encourage your workforce to engage more with this important employee benefit.
Our Communications Toolkit has lots of useful materials you might want to highlight to your employees. Use this to point your staff to key items you would like them to focus on, such as:
- Adding a beneficiary – helps bring pension savings into the present and if the worst were to happen, allows us to get money to their loved ones quickly, when they may need it most.
- Wellbeing Hub – Use our tools to think about broader finances and simple ways to plan and save money today. It helps address anxieties with cost-of-living issues and allows employees to focus more on work.
- Planning for their future – Use our retirement planning tools to understand their likely later life finances and help them feel more empowered and assured when balancing their longer-term life and work.
Once you have your microsite up and running, you can use the materials in our communications toolkit to signpost your staff to information and help in the microsite that is relevant to your employees, along with any other planned employee engagement activity.
We’ll be continually adding more to our Financial Wellbeing hub and new support benefits making your microsite a valuable ‘go to’ destination for your employees.
