What categories are my employees?

Employees are assessed for auto-enrolment by looking at:

  • their age;
  • whether they’re working or ordinarily working in the UK; and
  • their earnings.

They’re classed as one of the following statuses:

  • eligible jobholder
  • non-eligible jobholder
  • entitled worker
