Contribution increase template letters / emails and guide

Telling your staff about increasing contributions…

To help you communicate about the contribution increase, we’ve created templates that you can use to send to your employees.. And we’ve provided a guide to help you with this. You can choose from either a letter or an email format.

In this zip file, you’ll see:

  • A guide to help you use the templates and decide which version of the letter/email is best for you.

Letter templates:

  • a generic net tax basis (also known as relief at source) template letter
  • an editable net tax basis (also known as relief at source) template letter
  • an editable gross tax basis (also known as net pay arrangement) template letter

If you prefer to communicate by email, you’ll find email versions of all the letters in the folder ‘email templates’. Simply copy and paste it into your email.

  • a generic net tax basis (also known as relief at source) template email
  • an editable net tax basis (also known as relief at source) template email
  • an editable gross tax basis (also known as net pay arrangement) template email

If you’re paying above the minimum contributions already, please adapt the templates to fit your company’s circumstances.

(A ‘zip file’ is a computer file that’s been compressed. This keeps these documents together in the same place, so that it’s easier for you to access them.)
