Will the JRS cover pension contributions I make above the minimum level?

No, the JRS will not cover any pension contributions you make above the minimum employer contribution of 3%. In the interests of simplicity, the government has aligned the grants with the 3% minimum contribution required by employers. If you contribute above this amount and will continue to do so for furloughed staff, you won’t be able to claim for these additional contributions.

More information about JRS can be found on the government’s website where you can find a step-by-step guide to claiming your employees’ wages.
