When will The Pensions Regulator take action against my employer for non-payment of contributions?

We’ll report non-payment of contributions to The Pensions Regulator 90 days after the payment due date. At what point The Pensions Regulator take action against your company is different depending on the circumstances. They aim to work with employers, and for those who haven’t complied they’ll work with them to rectify the situation. The punishments will be harsher on an employer who ignores all attempts by The Pensions Regulator to sort the problem than one who didn’t understand or tried to resolve the matter quickly. Please see www.thepensionsregulator.gov.uk/en/employers/what-happens-if-i-dont-comply for more details.
