We’ll automatically set the date as your State Pension age, unless you tell us differently. This is called your ‘selected retirement age’ and you can amend this date within your Online Account.
If your State Pension age includes a number of months, the retirement age we hold will be your previous birthday. For example, if your State Pension age is 66 and three months, the retirement age we’ll hold for you will be 66. For more help go to: www.gov.uk/state-pension-age.
